Blu Elephant

I believe everybody who passes Blue Elephant can't help looking at it. Since the restaurant lives in a 100-year-old building (The Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce previously), Blue Elephant attracts pedestrians to visit with its ancient charm, especially in dusk.
The origin of the restaurant is also interesting. Blue elephant is a Thai restaurant, but first founded in 1980 in Brussels, Belgium by Thai owner, Ms Nooror Somany. High successful from Brussels, Somany expanded her business in Europe and East Asia. When Blue Elephant was well-known worldwide, She thought it's time to go back home, so Bangkok became the 10th branch. It's not easy to do a Thai-food restaurant in Thailand as there has been loads of great Thai-restaurant already. Still, Blue Elephant in Bangkok is accepted by native and foreign customers. Especially in the evening, all tables are booked, so you should do a reservation before going there.
